A dance and puppet performance inspired by Sapmí
The snow creaks and squeaks. The ice is cracking. The animals move across the landscape. Nature is self-evident, eternal and unadulterated. A source of energy and reflection. The Sami languages has over 200 words for snow: melted snow, flying snow, sticky snow, hard snow, icy snow and more. Through dance and puppets, the Sami mountain world is shaped.
The audience is invited to a magical, mythical and airy fabulous world. With a fingertip- sensitive mix of mime and dance to evocative music, creaking snow and clinking ice, we travel through Sápmi’s white landscape. A poetic performance about animals and nature, in a
beautiful and integrated scenography, where every detail is carefully executed.
